Kyulim Kim (b.1993) is a visual artist based in Amsterdam and Seoul.
Her work and research ask how spaces that are experienced and represented as fixed could be uncovered as fluid through the use of audio-visual technologies. Often, it takes place within the context of transitional and neglected spaces that arise from urban transformation and displacement. Within the practice, there has been a continuous interest in the spatiality produced through the process of relocating places. Recent works focus on investigating the movement of matter that resists transportation or retains an inseparable connection to places.
